This work is an ephemeral collection, an accumulation of the word: passado
This project tries to show the same idea presented by the repetition, though each mark is unique their meaning is the same. The back is a transitory space, which allows you to imagine what happened before and to guess what might happen in the future. It maybe that these words will disappear, but as an image, a cut in time, it is made eternal.
So I choose to show this work in order to freeze what is normally a transient mark into a permanent state. In this way I am capturing the actual real image that the “past” really is behind us, which to me is a literal and poetic interpretation.The meaning of the project and the image itself go hand in hand.
